Phyxius (Greek - Take Flight)
Phyxius is a kayak race boat. It is a CLC designed kit — West River 180. It is 4mm plywood built super light. I have over 250 miles of competition. John Harris got this design out of his obsolete files and retooled it for me. A very good boat for moderate distance racing.
DRIFTWOOD
Stephen Champagne and his wife bought DRIFTWOOD, a 32′ Grand Banks, in May 2014. They put her in drydock for seven weeks and had a crew of five shipwrights working on her. They sistered 17 of her frames, replaced both chines, and 160 feet of planking.
HORNET
HORNET is a 1981, 18' Hankins sailing skiff, recently relaunched by Damian Siekonic of Privateer Media Built by Charles Hankins & sons of Lavallette, New Jersey, as hull number CHS-812-M81G, HORNET has appeared in three films since being bought by Siekonic in 2000.
SARAH WILSON
This sharpie was launched at Lake Wyvenhoe, Queensland, Australia. It was built by John Hockings over six months, and was inspired by Bill Schwicker's Egret and his 3 fathom sharpie.
MAXINE
Max Buckland couldn't be happier with his 9′ Kidyak, MAXINE, built for him by his grandfather Alan Deforest of Wilimington, North Carolina, and presented to Max on Christmas Day, 2011.
ELSIE KAYE
Glued lapstrake Phoenix III designed by Ross Lillistone. Built over a period of 3 years, with most of this occurring during the 2021 COVID Pandemic.

Just launched May 15, my Point Comfort 23, in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada.The glass over marine ply hull is to plan, but the interior is mostly mine, including the steam bent white oak t-top frame and marine ply cover, and teak covered vertical surfaces.

My Kayak is a Chesapeake Light Craft “Wood Duck Hybrid.” I started the build on 11/6/14 and completedit on 12/30/14. It took approximately 185 hours to complete the kayak, including time spent on making a “Greenland Paddle” and a few mistakes that needed to be rectified!
