VERONIQUE is a 14′ Dacron skin-on-frame canoe based on the Geodesic Aerolite Arrow 14 design. Built and owned by Carl Frey. Ribs are steamed red oak. Stringers and inwales are laminated Douglas fir.
Mark McGinley built this Iain Oughtred design 7 1/2′ Auk “ELSIE KAY” from Okoume plywood as well as locally cut Quarter sawn oak, ash, and pine. She is the tender for his Pacific Seacraft PS-25 located in the Apostle Islands area of lake Superior.
Dunwerkin is our first wooden boat. It’s a 14′ square stern kayak made of cedar. Runs like a dream. I am proud of it although I just paddle. I didn't build it. That job was left to a friend.

Chris Ireland built this 16′ Amberjack Dory from Iain Oughtred’s plans. The construction is glued lapstrake using Okoume marine plywood and West System epoxy. Stem and frames were laminated Douglas fir, ash breasthooks and gunwales, and white pine transom, thwarts and floorboards.
