This boat is a John Harris design know as the Skerry and was built from a Chesapeake Light Craft kit. This was my first boat build and was accomplished in my spare time over about 10 months and a couple of weeks.

The Rangeley boat evolved out of the need for a guide boat that provided a stable platform for fly fisherman to cast from and to cope with the conditions encountered in the large mountain-ringed lakes near Rangeley, Maine. FISH SLAYER is based off the offsets taken from a boat H.N.
Aleksander Celarek just built this new motor launch, XIĄŻĘ XAWERY, with auxilary sail power. Based on designs of steam launches from the end of the 19th century, it is named after the first steamship that came to Poland from England in 1827.
During the winter of 2002-2003, Bruce Porter built this 13'9" x 58" flat-bottomed dory with help from Madison East High School Woodworking Students and staff. Launched in May 2003, SHARK will be used on Madison Wisconsin area lakes and rivers.

I restored the boat which was still very sound and have been racing it competitively. It is still near minimum weight and full competitive.
Originally launched June 25, 2005, this Cosine Wherry needed a refresh. The sliding seat was removed and a more traditional interior was installed this summer. Two cedar strip buoyancy tanks were added, along with many coats of varnish and new oars from Barkley Sound Oar & Paddle.

This is a boat i just finished from Chesapeake Light Craft. It is the Mill Creek Hybrid, consisting of an okoume hull and cedar strip deck. The launch occurred yesterday at Seed Lake in the North Georgia mountains.
