Penobscot 14
Serge Larocque launched his Penobscot 14 earlier this year in July after spending 18 months building it. He chose a lug rig for its ease of use with no standing rigging to deal with. Serge reports that it’s a fun and responsive boat.
Kestrel - Mini Skeeter Iceboat
The Mini Skeeter Story by John EisenlohrI’m a third generation iceboater and a second generation dirtboater. My Grandpa Bud lived on Lake Delevan Wisconsin in the 50’s. He my Grandma Jane and my Dad Bill sailed E scows in the summer. In the winter they had 3 iceboats they sailed.
The Swan
The Swan is a CLC Light Craft “Wood Duckling 8” built over a two week period by 9 year-old McKenzie Kaufman and her grandfather Charles McParland of Tega Cay, SC. She was launched on August 6th on Lake Wylie in South Carolina.
Ella I
Completed Chester Yawl, from plans at Chesapeake Light Craft. This is a working boat, intended for rowing by one or two on lake Erie. It has a work boat finish. The gravel beaches on this part of Lake Erie are very hard on the finish.
NA HUI HUI A MAKA LILI
NA HUI HUI A MAKA LILI is Hawaiian for "Seven Sister Stars". It is also the name of Ben Travis' sailing outrigger canoe. Built in April of 2001, it is 16' long with a 30" beam. The unusual sail was cut from a parachute. Ben calls the rig a sprit-half-gaff rig.
BLUE LOBSTER
James Gowen and his family launched this Catspaw Dinghy, BLUE LOBSTER, in their family pool at their home in Berwyn, Pennsylvania. BLUE LOBSTER was designed by Joel White, and is 12'8" long, with a 4'6" beam. James planked the hull with white cedar on oak frames.

Roy Terwilliger acquired Snipe Class #3258 in 1972 and has spent several years restoring it. The boat was originally built in 1937 by Roger Gintling of Sparrows Point, Maryland, for a cost of $165.
BIGORNO
A scaled version of the Guepard. The hull shape is original but the rigging is from Selway Fisher “Surf8”.
LILLY
A 16 ft clinker canoe of larch on oak from John Gardners 'Classic Small Craft'. The cubbies aft and fore form watertight compartments.
