We designed a simple to build work boat with a vee-hull based on a proven work boat type, the Panga.
We included in our catalog this boat for a request of one of our customers who identified in this model the traditional American boat, whose designs were published in WoodenBoat magazine, with the strange name “Dispro”, which meant the “Disappearing propeller boat”.
Riva’s only outboard designed in the early 50’s with a 25hp Evinrude. Some 140 models were built between 1950 and 1957. We have been fortunate enough to have received a good set of plans that cover all details enabling us to replicate this little treasure.
Before the advent of the outboard motor, rowing/sailing skiffs were common on Chesapeake Bay. They were used for crabbing, fishing, transporting goods, and enjoying summer evenings with a friend.

The T*Boat is a Wood / Plywood / Resin structure. The T* comes in 2 Versions. The T*5 is a one person version and the “Coming Soon” T*Six is a 2 person version. The T*5 can be built from scratch using our Drawing and Instruction Package. Or it can be built using the T*5 Kit.
