The Chesapeake 17 is one of our most popular kits. Its handling qualities and speed combined with a large cockpit and voluminous stowage make it one of the most capable touring boats around.
A practical and stable 8' (2.4m) pram dinghy suitable for up to 3 adults.
Ideal for fishing or as a tender for larger boats.
The main priorities which lie at the base of the DP 14' design are: simplicity of construction, user friendliness (for single or double crew) and good performance - all of this with reasonable costs.

The BRIO 555 is a fast and easy to handle boat, suitable to be sailed sportively by a crew of two or quietly and safely by a larger crew.
Accomodates 2-4 for daysailing, and has a small cuddy cabin. Construction: Carvel Planked over sawn frames. Alternative construction: Strip, or strip bottom with plywood sides. Lofting is required. Plans include 7 sheets.
Techne is a pure double trapeze skiff, fast, exciting and for amateur boat building.
This design was inspired by Ross Lillistone’s “Water Rat”. The bow transom was replaced by a pointed stem. Also the internal volume and from there the displacement of the boat were increased by about 20%. Changes were made to the seating arrangement as well.
