Living by of The Gulf of Finland I wanted to have a small boat that I could easily launch in the spring and take up before the ice covers the sea in the winter. I designed and built the lapstrake boat Kjerstin, named after my grandmother.
19' 7" Runabout, Displacement 2,400 pounds. Built over the past 4.5 years. Built with Douglas fir, western red cedar, Hydrotek marine ply and WestSystem epoxy. Raymarine 9 inch VFD with autopilot, networked with fuel senders and mercury display. Hydro tabs with gyro.
34' gaff rigged lee board ketch, 18" draft, mahogany on oak hull. Sitka Spruce masts and spars, built 1979 in Plymouth, MA. 18 horse Yanmar diesel less than 100 hours. Steel and oak cradle trailer not road worthy R. Harmon & Sons wood dingy tender. Sails by Nat. Wilson- East Booth Bay ME.
Excellent condition. Professionally rebuilt 2019, new transom and new planks as needed. New seat cushions. 2022 Yamaha 60-hp motor, 8 hours run time. Load-Rite trailer. Asking $20,000.
This stunning 16' mahogany inboard runabout is model 202, the “Special Utility Boat.” Built in 1934, it is fitted with a 4-cylinder, 35-hp Lycoming engine. Complete with a shatterproof windshield, automotive steering, nickel silver fittings, and upholstered seat backs and cushions.
Pax Nostrum Sailing Ketch on the hard in Trinidad. She is of oak planking on oak frames and encapsulated in fiberglass. Extensive work is ongoing and she is shrink wrapped. About 60% of her work is completed. 6cylinder Gardner diesel.
