BLIND FAITH

Using Bill Platt's design, Eric Rasmussen built this 18' pulling boat and launched it in the summer of 2007. Eric writes that used white spruce and white cedar that he logged in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, which he then milled into bead-and-cove strips for the hull. He used wooden nails for fastenings, and covered the hull with epoxy. BLIND FAITH sports a sliding seat and 9'6" carbon fiber oars. Eric uses BLIND FAITH on Eagle Lake, which is part of a chain of 28 lakes across Wisconsin. He adds that there is no shortage of water near him, as Vilas County is home to 1200 lakes.
