FRIJE FROSK

Frije Frosk is a Francois Vivier Design, type Meaban.I built her in the past three years in my garage.She is strip planked mahogany with Iroko decks, the bulkheads are build according to the egg box principle.A lot of brightwork, all epoxy and 2K UV transparent finishing.Gaff rigged with a small gennaker.Lead ballast and steel centreboard, draft only 1.5 ft. with legs to support her when the tide is low.Spars made of Douglas fir, hollow.She has 4 berths, a small 5HP Honda outboard, nicely hidden in the hull.Small kitchen, with basin and a alcohol stove.She sails like a charm, and fast (6.5 Kn).Great fun to build and sail!
