JESSICA SARA

Jack Shenker lives between two lakes in New Jersey, so he needed to build two boats. He started by building LITTLE JOANIE, a Shellback dinghy for fishing on one of the lakes. More recently he built JESSICA SARA, a 14′ Pixie catamaran built from plans from The WoodenBoat Store. A Woods design, the catamaran is built with okoume plywood, stitched and glued together. Jack then covered the sides with fiberglass cloth. He sails on the other lake in JESSICA SARA, teaching his grandchildren the joys of sailing.
