KITTY

Charlie Wetherill built this 7′9″ Ruben's Nymph design (plan # 516) by Dynamite Payson and Phil Bolger from plans bought at the website, www.instantboats.com.  He used instant boat tack-and-tape construction, then painted KITTY with International Harvester white tractor paint. He considers it “a tribute to both of these fine men and their contributions to the world of boats.”Charlie previously built a Diablo deep-V design from their plans and reports that he was never disappointed by any of the boat's characteristics. Charlie gave the Diablo to his brother to tow behind his Mississippi River boat. You can find Charlie and his family enjoying KITTY on Saylorville Lake near their home in Iowa.
