Macgregor Canoe

Today (7-26-20) is the day after many hours and years of life, that I get to finally launch my new canoe. It is a 13′ 7″ MACGREGOR canoe designed by Iain Oughtred. The boat is all wood; built with glued lapstrake Okume plywood planking (the garboards do have a layer of carbon-fiber laminated to them), Cherry longitudinal’s and floor timbers, the sole is Ceder, the keel and stems are laminated Philippine Mahogany.I hope to paddle on the lakes in the area and do some canoe camping with it.Hope you all like it like I do.Tom
