MERRIMACK SKIFF

Bob Elliott led a group of seven students in building this Merrimack Skiff at Lowell's Boat Shop in Amesbury, Massachusetts in 2001. With agathis planking over sawn oak frames, this boat is just over 13 feet long with a beam of two-and-a-half feet. Owner Mark Collins is at the oars in these photos. He enjoys the skiff on Glenn Lake. You can contact Mark at P.O. Box 734, Goffstown, NH 03045-0734.
