She is a Big Ben Garvey designed by Doug Hylan. A wedding gift for my younger daughter and her husband Casey and Joe Bedard she was only about two years late but the new owners love it. She is epoxy/fiberglass over fir plywood with a simple painted finish and unfinished red cedar floorboards. The 50 hp two stroke pushes her to just over 20 mph and will cruise easily at 20 mph. She will explore the many lakes and ponds in central and southern Maine along with the occasional salt water excursion off Harpswell, ME.
