SUE SEAY Q

Guy Seay Jr., his wife, Sue, and sons, Michael and Eric, all had a hand in building SUE SEAY Q, a 9′6″ Nutshell pram designed by Joel White. The family had bought the kit from The WoodenBoat Store. They launched her on August 29, 2014 to the music of Dale Hawkins, Creedence Clearwater Survival, and the Rolling Stones singing “Suzy Q.” Family and friends gathered for the launching party near Long Beach Island in Barnegat Bay, New Jersey, where everyone took turns rowing and sailing SUE SEAY Q. Michael Seay took these pictures.
