The skyline of Minneapolis is just visible in the background of the picture. Neal plans to paddle in the lakes and rivers of Minnesota and Wisconsin with his Wood Duck. This is his second boat; he built a skin-on-frame baidarka at the WoodenBoat School many years ago.
