Trover

Originally designed as a workboat to replace the native fishing fleet in East Timor this boat is intended for fishing off surf beaches or in shallow estuaries, is both robust and economical in use and can take outboard motors from 8hp to 30hp.  Her motor is protected in a well for use in big waves or  surf, She will carry a big load, is light enough to handle singlehanded, and is a very capable sea boat .Trover is a workhorse, cheap, easy to build, tough, versatile and could best be likened to a small seagoing pickup truck .More on her  "here"  http://www.jwboatdesigns.co.nz/plans/trover/index.htmShe was designed to be built from construction grade lumberyard materials, and used hard. Check out Dans Trover build "here" http://www.dplace.orconhosting.net.nz/index.html
