Steve Killing’s design is fast becoming well-known, in part due to the Endeavour being build in many a WoodenBoat School class, as well as being the featured boat in the Ted Moores book Kayakcraft.This is the boat for you, even if you have never paddled before.

A simple, spacious, singlehanded cruiser designed for carvel construction. Construction: Carvel planked over steamed frames. Alternative construction: Cold-molded or strip. Lofting is required. Plans include 7 sheets

It rows, it tows and it sails; it's a convenient 7' 9" long and easy on the eyes; and it's a wonderful kit to build, taking a novice only 40-50 hours to assemble plus a little more for finishing.

Badger gained widespread fame as the subject of the book Voyaging On A Small Income. The concept of this design was to use the basic interior accommodation plan that worked so well on the 34′ Topsail Ketch Sunrise, which was evolved and improved on during the decade that I lived aboard her.
