ALBATROS 26’ is the smallest sister of the ALBATROS family, our modern classic yachts. Far its size it cannot be defined a “blue water yacht” but it is a seaworthy boat.

The Headwater TRANSPORT 9.9 is an easily Car-Topped Pram Dinghy with a constant deadrise 10 deg. V-bottom Planing Hull with lifting chine strips. Bow and stern seats provide level flotation if the hull is swamped, and also provide dry storage if watertight closures are installed.
I originally designed this kayak for a customer with a lake house in Wisconsin. He is a fit, athletic guy with almost no experience in a kayak. He wanted something he felt comfortable in, yet which would move along nicely.
