58 Foot William Garden Heavy Timber Motor Yacht Built 1952

JoAhna K is a 58 foot heavy displacement, double ended William Garden motor yacht built 1952. Designed for long range, independent cruising with robust construction, large tankage, and simple dependable systems.
Hull planked with 2" VG steam bent 3"x3" white oak frames on 12” centers, Douglas Fir decks, aluminum bulwarks Angelique cap rails.
Beam 16 feet 6 inches. Displacement 132,000 pounds.
Twin John Deere Lugger LP66ST diesel engines, 168 horsepower each, new in 2002. Twin Disc red. Gears, balanced rudder, 4 to 6 gallons at 8 kts, Fuel 3,200 gal. Water 800 gal
Electrical (new 2002) 12 VDC and 120 240 VAC, Northern Lights 8 kW gen set, Xantrex inverter charger, house bank 960 AH and isolation transformer. Dual radar, chart plotter GPS, AIS VHF, SSB, and autopilot.
Interior features large main salon, full galley, wheelhouse, 8’ high engine room with dual entries, aft master stateroom, three private forward cabins, and three heads. Diesel fired hydronic heat throughout.
Extensive refit completed in 2002.
2020 Survey reports hull, structure, and fastenings in good condition.
