Commercial Fishing Boat Builders

“From Shore to Shore: Boat Builders and Boatyards of Long Island and Westchester” is on display at the Port Jefferson Village Center. Curated by Long Island Traditions and Arts Westchester, the exhibition has a series of programs with boat builders featured in the exhibition. The July 16 program on commercial fishing boat building includes Howard Pickerell of Southampton, John Remsen of Freeport, Rob and Ron Harter of Bellmore and Paul Ketcham of Amityville, of Long Island. The program is free and begins at 7pm.
