80 Years with Wooden Boats

Long-time Orcas Island resident mariner Miles McCoy will present a slide show and talk on his eight decades of sailing and boating in wooden boats. An excellent storyteller, Miles and his wife Louellen have selected his best photos from boating in local waters and beyond, for what promises to be an interesting and entertaining evening not to be missed. The talk is at 7 p.m., April 12th, at the Odd Fellows Hall. Miles’ talk is the spring presentation of the Wooden Boat Society of the San Juan Islands. Free to all; donations appreciated.
