Hudson River ACBS Antique & Classic Boat Show

The Hudson River Chapter of the Antique and Classic Boat Society is pleased to once again sponsor its annual classic boat show at the Hudson River Maritime Museum on historic Rondout Creek in Kingston. Boats arrive on Friday and there will be a parade of classics on Saturday at 4 p.m., weather permitting.

This judged show features power, sail, and hand-powered classic watercraft from a wide variety of original manufacturers, such as Chris-Craft, Century, Hutchinson, Grand Banks and others, as well as examples of homemade vessels. The boats represent different styles of craft and various stages of preservation/restoration – from unrestored “project” boats, to award-winning show boats. Owners are on hand to discuss the history and restoration of their boats, as well as to give their advice on a variety of topics to those who are interested in this fast-growing hobby. In addition to the display of boats, Antique and Classic Boat Society membership and general boating information will be available at the show, and souvenir items including hats and shirts will be available for purchase.
