MyStatebank Australian Wooden Boat Festival

-

Celebrating our nation’s rich maritime culture and heritage, the MyStateBank Australian Wooden Boat Festival has established a reputation as one of the world’s best maritime events. Held on Hobart’s vibrant waterfront, the four-day festival of maritime culture and craftsmanship brings together the biggest collection of wooden boats in the southern hemisphere.

Much more than a static display of over 600 wooden boats, it’s a lively weekend full of music, good food, laughter, tall tales, and water-borne activities. It’s family friendly, fun, and entertaining. You can learn a nautical skill, build a boat, listen to a band, enjoy a drink, or just catch up with old friends in a safe, hospitable environment in one of the loveliest natural harbours in the world.

Tasmania has an active boatbuilding industry, hundreds of enthusiastic boat owners, and some of the finest gourmet food and beverages in Australia. General admission to the MyStateBank Australian Wooden Boat Festival is free.
