So You Want to Build a Boat?

Through this demonstration and lecture style class, Charles Caniff will help students get started in building a wooden boat. Students will learn how to get started, the best types of wood, tools, and more.

Charles Caniff has been a high school shop teacher, an instructor for both Historic Spanish Point and the Florida Gulf Coast Maritime Museum, and has built nine of his own boats.
