Southport, NC Wooden Boat Show

Southport’s fourth-annual Wooden Boat Show is full of boat enthusiasts, vendors, kid activities and even a seafood chowder cook-off. The Southport Wooden Boat Show promotes interest in the craft and art of wooden boat construction, to support efforts to preserve wooden boat construction and skills and to celebrate the region’s maritime and boatbuilding history. Near Wilmington, Southport is a charming coastal town with history, architecture, great dining and other attractions worth staying for a weekend. Free admission.
