During his lecture “The History and Process of Shipwreck Archaeology” Warren Riess—research associate professor at the University of Maine, stationed at the Darling Marine Center—will explain the significance, possibilities, fieldwork, analysis, and ethics of this unique endeavor. Riess will use maritime archaeology examples mostly in Maine.

The lecture will be held Thursday, October 24 from 6 to 7 p.m. Tickets: $7 for MMM members and $10 for non-members.
