My kayak is a Chesapeake Light Craft “Wood Duck Hybrid.” I started the build on 11/6/14 and completed it on 12/30/14. It took approximately 185 hours to build including time spent making a “Greenland Paddle” and fixing some mistakes that needed to be rectified! I live in South West Florida and this kayak is perfect for the conditions here. I needed a kayak larger than my 21-year-old “CLC Severn,” since I wish to go camping with it. The Wood Duck can handle 350 lbs., so it will work nicely. I have paddled in open water and both up stream and down stream in the Loxahatchee River and the boat works great! This is a perfect all around boat.
