ARALLA

ARALLA was launched in Hobart, Tasmania, 1928, as Allara, a  Government patrol vessel. She is very likely the last surviving true Government Cutter. Allara was the British registered name of another vessel, so when she was British registered in 1943 they spelt the name backwards. All Australian vessels sailing overseas had British Reg. until 1988.
