BRUXA DO MAR

Self built 30ft sailing ketch, started in 1974 in the Netherlands and completed in 2005 in Brazil according to a self modified design of the English ship’s architect Maurice Griffiths circa 1956. Hull and mast construction entirely of wood. Boat located at the island of Ilhabela on the East coast of Brazil at Sao Sebastian between Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. Name of boat “Bruxa do Mar” (Sea Witch) in keeping with the original name of the Griffith’s design, namely “Water-Witch”.
