CASSIOPEA is said to be based on Charles Wittholz “Prudence” but there are significant difference. LOD is 25ft, her long bow sprit and boom make up the rest of her 38ft LOA. Built in Livorno Italy, she is mahogany plant on frame. Fastened with galvanized nails; Keel - Iroko fastened to hull with Stainless steel bolts; Deck - deck mahogany plywood; Mast and Spars - Sitka spruce. She is fitted with a 466 sq ft main and two foresails: Big jib roller furling, ~280 sq ft, and a smaller 150 sq ft.
