KINGFISHER
I built my Melonseed Skiff in my garage in 2019 and I finished it in 2020. It was named The Kingfisher after a small turquoise fishing bird that is often seen in our country.
About the construction. It has strip-planked hull that was made of mahogany and maple wood with a laminated stem. Its deck is decorated with intarsia.
In addition, I equipped the boat with a set of oars made of Siberian larch.
I have been sailing her since April 2020, I have already used it on 12 lakes in Europe.
My Melonseed Skiff weights 125 kg. It is a solid sailing essence.
