Our boat is a home built replica of a 11′ Whitehall Rowing/sailing skiff. I was built by Dennis Hill in Avon on the Outer Banks, NC.
When I gave it a new home, we first needed to build a small boat shop and then I began to apply much TLC needed. So have I have completed the repair of all of the checked and split planks, and painted the outside.
Currently it is right side up, in our small boat shop, awaiting my completion of the inside, components I removed, floorboards, etc.
It is fitted with a removable rudder, daggerboard, and mast with gaff rigged sail.
I am hoping that placing this boat on the Wooden Boat registry, I will get additional inspiration to complete!! This winter.
