I purchased a 1959 Lyman 23 foot sleeper a few years back that was in VERY bad shape. If you are a car enthusiast you will know what I mean when I say a “frame off” restoration. New transom. many new planks, ribs, keel parts, keelson, everything to bare wood, all chrome re chromed. boat rewired and the list goes on. She should be re-launched this May (2014).
