MONHEGAN

MONHEGAN is a 37-foot Elihu Beal Downeast Lobster hull. Built in 1969 and purchased without engine or equipment installed, her original owner powered her with a Detroit Diesel and used her for transportation of tourists from New Harbor, Maine, to Monhegan Island in the summer. In the late fall, she lobstered the waters around Monhegan Island. She has only had 2 owners, with the original owner selling her in 2011. She has been meticulously maintained throughout her life.
