SPARK

A 14-foot sailing dinghy from the UK, GP14 5942 was once part of the Race Fleet in Stone Harbor NJ before retiring to a less strenuous life of cruising in Pennsylvania’s extensive lake system. Laid up on her original 1964 trailer since 1985, I have recently returned her to the salty back bays of Southern NJ with plans to day sail and “Camp Cruise” up and down the East Coast. While I have no plans to refit or restore Spark during this first year of use, 2018 should see a completely refitted 5942 on the water for a continued long life among the marshes
