TENACITY

I built this Catspaw Dinghy starting in 1981 in Los Angeles, California and completed it in Santa Fe, New Mexico in 1995. I recently refurbished it in 2013, by recaulking and repainting the hull and repairing a broken plank with a butt block. I had to sister a couple of oak frames and now she’s as good as new. Living in the high desert with low humidity, I installed an electric bilge pump which pumps the water into the centerboard trunk and out the bottom. It saves bailing every time I take her out on the local lakes.
