STERNA

This a my build of the Chesapeake Light Craft, Skerry.
It is classic working, rowing sailer with a Scandinavian design.
I started building it in April 2021 when epoxy would cure in my Vermont barn and finished it in July 2021 for it’s maiden sail in it’s summer waters off of North Haven Island, Penobscot Bay, Maine.
It is fitted with a balanced lug sail that is easy to lose and reef.
It sails easily with one or two and at 100lbs, really moves in any wind.
