ISOBAR
Built in 1962 at the renowned Cheoy Lee Shipyard in Hong Kong, ISOBAR is a spectacular full-keel teak and mahogany bluewater sloop with an international racing pedigree and a storied cruising history. With a strip-planked wineglass hull, spacious decks and a counter stern, she sports a low-aspect mainsail rig built expressly for the largely downwind run of the TransPac. While she is a full custom design by 1954 US 110 national sailing champions Don and Les Harlander, her lines take inspiration from several big Sparkman & Stevens designs -- most noticeably Dorade and Finisterre.
