ALEX-ELECTRA

After 13 years of part-time building, Bob Cosler, of Pasadena, Maryland launched ALEX-ELECTRA in July 2021. Built from Berkeley Engineering plans for the Candu EZ tug she is powered by a 10 hp golf cart motor running from six, 6 -volt Trojan batteries. She makes about 5-6 knots which is just the right speed as everyone wants to circle the tug and ask questions when she is on the water. Having recently relocated to Florida; Alex-Electra will be plying the waters of Lemon Bay, off the west coast near Englewood, Fl.
