GEZINA

Gene and Luanna Dykens of Holland, MI launched a 16' wooden canoe with a Polynesian outrigger on April 25, 2003 in Long Lake, MI. Besides paddle propulsion, the boat is also equipped with a small electric motor. Designed for comfort, the front seat is a wicker chair; the back seat is caned with an adjustable caned backrest. Gene and Luanna built the canoe GEZINA with lots of help from family and friends.
