GOT WOOD?

This Offshore Skiff designed by Dave Gerr met all of the requirements Glenn Joyner was looking for in a boat he could use to cruise the sound near his North Carolina home. Glenn wanted a boat that could comfortably sleep two, with standing headroom, head, and galley. He wanted a seaworthy boat that he could build and use economically. Glenn Spent three years building GOT WOOD? and used pressure-treated plywood over 2x4 frames, fastened with stainless steel screws and covered with epoxy. Glenn advises that a boat this size should not be the first boat one builds. Fortunately, he's built several others.
