MARLA HOOCH

Adam Riso couldn’t be happier about his new boat, MARLA HOOCH. John Clark of Compumarine designed the 12′ x 5′ skiff. Over three years, Adam built the boat from western red cedar, mahogany, and pine. He then coated everything with fiberglass cloth and epoxy resin. It’s powered by a trolling motor. Adam also mentioned  that WoodenBoat magazine inspired him to build a boat. Adam launched MARLA HOOCH in Port Jefferson, New York, on September 8, 2012. Taylor Riso took these pictures.
