Stand-Up Paddleboard

In Pawaukee, Wisconsin, Ric Sternkopf designed and built these two stand-up paddleboards and launched them last April. The boards are 18′ long, 26″ wide, and weigh 38 lbs. They are made of stitch-and-glued 3mm okoume and sapele plywood. Since their launching he and his partner have paddled 40 lakes in Waukesha County near his home.
