Beetlecat Hull # 43. Originally constructed in 1946. Reframed and replaced transom, keel, and centerboard box. Parts of deck and hull needed to be replaced. Work resembled an archeological dig. In places there were iron fasteners, bronze fasteners and stainless steel screws.
Solar powered electric launch using CLC Southwester Dory plans. She has a 3-hp Torqeedo motor mounted in a well as well as Torqeedo solar panels. Shaw and Tenney oars and a sprit rig provide towing and sailing options as well. A Norwegian tiller runs fore and aft.
Launched 11/6/2016, Lake Cochituate, Framingham, MA, CLC Wood Duck 12 Hybrid. Kept me sane through chemo and radiation.

Named after builder Bill Terry's wife, ADA BELLE is a Ken Swan Little Gem rowing skiff. The frame is mahogany with plywood bottom and sides. Built for use on Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri, Bill reports that his grandsons love the boat and that she is easily rowed and handles well.
Ray Gray of Newport, North Carolina, has loved boats for a long time but did not build one until recently. After months of research Ray Gray relied on issues 116, 117, and 118 of WoodenBoat magazine to build a Shellback designed by Joel White.
CLC Wood Duck Hybrid. Deck was created using reclaimed old-growth redwood salvaged from 100 year hold home remodel.
Glued lapstrake Phoenix III designed by Ross Lillistone. Built over a period of 3 years, with most of this occurring during the 2021 COVID Pandemic.
James McFadden, age 4, has a wonderful pilot in his 11-year-old brother Dominic, on this Chesapeake Light Craft 14′ Wood Duck Double Kayak. Dominic built it with a little help from his grandfather, Ned Farinholt. Dominic and James live near the Shenandoah River in Front Royal, Virginia.
