In June of 2020 Martin Herbert and David Seager launched KIKI and SLICK, two International One-Metre radio controlled sailboats. These slender yachts, 162mm wide, were designed and built by Martin.

Restorer and owner Reed Feuster says this "Duck Boat" sneakbox of the Diamond class was built by David Beaton and Son of West Montoloking, NH approximately 40 years ago. Fleets of these white cedar boats were raced by Bay Head, Mantoloking, and Manasquan River Yacht Clubs on Barnegat Bay.
Mike Magnusson built this solo wood-strip canoe for his son Stephen, using cedar strip planking and ash for the trim and seats. He used maple and wenge for the mosaic design on the side, and lacewood for the bow and stern decks. Fiberglass cloth and epoxy cover the boat inside and out.
Frank Bailleul launched his sea kayak CORRYVRECKAN built and designed by Sardine Boats on the Bono river, south Brittany-France. The CORRYVRECKAN is a stitch-n-glue kayak designed for tall paddlers and touring.
One of the features of Pegasus Town (in North Canterbury, New Zealand) that drew me to it was it’s lake; nestled in beautifully landscaped grounds it provides a haven for waterfowl and sheltered waters absolutely ideal for pottering around on in a small boat.
Jim Earl modified Edwin Monk's plans for this Curlew sloop by giving it a gaff rig, instead of Marconi, and carvel planking, instead of lapstrake. He found the design in Monk's book "How to Build Wooden Boats, (Dover Pub, 1992).
Martin Walker teaches boat building at Maryville High School in Maryville, TN. During the 2002-2003 school year the school completed 4 boats - a 16' cedar strip Micmac canoe, a 15' Micmac made of redwood, 12'10" Pooduck skiff, and a 8' flat-bottom rowboat.
