Norm Hines and Charlie Stolz designed and built this boat to be used for recreational rowing within the coral reefs of Fiji. They used local hard wood and marine plywood with a modified stitch-and-glue technique to build BUSA. It took them just four weeks using only hand tools.
Frank Bailleul launched his sea kayak CORRYVRECKAN built and designed by Sardine Boats on the Bono river, south Brittany-France. The CORRYVRECKAN is a stitch-n-glue kayak designed for tall paddlers and touring.

John Storrow built his 7' long gaff catboat EMPRESS in his Boston apartment, completing her in September 2002. She was launched on October 20, 2002 in the Charles River in Boston. John uses a cart to transport Empress from his apartment to the river.
GRAVY is the first boat I’ve ever owned. I saw one of designer Berkeley Eastman’s micro tugs at the waterfront boat museum / restaurant at Disney Springs and fell in love. GRAVY is the Candu Junior model.
Esc.Key is a new solar electric river boat recently launched by Denman Marine.
The initial design brief was for a river launch that was similar in concept to the early 20th century Noosa River putt putt boats which had a hard top to keep the harsh Queensland sun at bay.
Traditional wood/canvas canoe: Rollin Thurlow-designed 13 ft American Beauty. Class-built at WB School summer of 2013 and finished by owner.
“Sue Seay Q” a 9′6″ Nutshell Pram Kit built by Guy Seay Jr. was launched on Aug 29th 2014. The family project enlisted son’s Michael and Eric along with wife Sue. Guy built the Nutshell in his barn in Upper Saddle River NJ. Launching took place on Barnegat Bay, NJ off of Long Beach Island.
Rivus, a 16′ melonseed, was launched on August 30, 2014. She was built from Marc Barto’s WoodenBoat Store plans, glued lap construction. Her rig was designed by John Brady of Philadelphia’s Independence Seaport Museum.
