Van Dam Custom Boats launched a new 30' lapatrake design, CHOCOLATE CHIP3. This daycruiser features an open cockpit that includes a galley, dinette, and wet bar. With a 10' beam and enough seats for a crowd, CHOCOLATE CHIP3 provides a stable cruising platform.
Andy Rockwood launched this John Gardner Surf Dory on June 24, 2001. He built the boat for Stuart Walker of North Muskegon, MI, who plans to use the boat on the Great Lakes. Andy built the boat using traditional methods with white pine planking on white oak frames.
Sulkava is a two person sliding seat row boat that readily converts to a single. It is designed by Ruud Van Veelen a Dutchman living in Finland. I chose this design as I was after something that was fast and elegant but suitable for two novice rowers.

Norwegian sailing pram traditionally built of spruce and oak painted with linseed oil paint. The spars and oars are varnished and made of pine and the sail is made of cotton.
The boat is a lot of fun to sail and it rows beautifully too.
In 2003, Walter and Debbie Schwarz fell in love with a 1965 Chris-Craft Constellation in serious need of help. They rebuilt every part of her and updated her amenities to now include a master stateroom, modern electronics and bow thrusters, and a completely redone interior.
