October 8th, 1977, twenty-four “21 feet sailing boats” single handed left Penzance (United Kingdom) for Antigua with a stopover in Tenerife.The smallest offshore racing boats were born and so was favourite race: the Mini Transat.
Kingfisher’ II is was developed directly from Kingfisher. Hull shape was modified with with flatten side line and reduced height. Other hull dimensions remain the same, width of 93 cm, flat bottom and slim shape gives good stability and maneuverability.
The CS-18 is an open interior design with the home builder in mind. It is designed for an above deck fuel tank and less aggressive flare in the bow. These features make this design an easier and faster build and at 18.5′, it will fit in most home garages.
