WoodenBoat Live with Jan Adkins

Join WoodenBoat magazine editor Matt Murphy for an interview with Jan Adkins. Jan is the principal contributor, of both words and drawings, to WoodenBoat’s popular Getting Started in Boats magazine supplement. He is also author of numerous books, including the classic sailing primer Craft of Sail, and the fascinating instructional manual Moving Heavy Things. The wide-ranging conversation moves from Jan’s philosophy of illustration to his days as a graphic artist with National Geographic. And there is even a short interlude with a live recitation of poetry.
